From Channel-Port Aux Basques - Carbonear is located approximately 883 km from Marine Atlantic's Channel-Port Aux Basque Ferry Terminal. Upon departing the ferry, head east on the Trans Canada Highway (Route 1) until you reach the turnoff for Route 70.

Continue along Route 70. Take a right turn onto Powell Drive which leads directly into Beach Road. You will soon pass Carbonear's Railway Station, Tourist Information and Museum.
